The Board Meeting for the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board took place on January 31, 2023. Three recommendations from the Committee of the Whole meeting on January 17, 2023, were brought to the Board Meeting for a final vote.

Last night the Committee of the Whole meeting for the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board took place. I want to thank every constituent that reached out to me and my fellow trustees in a respectful manner to voice their opinions on the key reports and motions on the floor for discussion during the meeting.

The motion as originally written was debated and amended during the meeting. I voted in favour of the motion. The motion did not pass.

I want to thank every constituent that reached out to me and my fellow trustees as we prepared for the Special Meeting Board for the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board last night. It is an important part of our democratic system to hear from our constituents in a productive and respectful manner.
